Concept project – What is Dopewarz?

DopeWarZ is a comprehensive metaverse full of the virtual economy that enables users to trade DrugZ to earn real-world assets. The game takes inspiration from the original Dope Wars & Drug Lord but adds the blockchain technology factor in its metaverse core. DopeWarZ has witnessed unprecedented growth and become one of the first drug dealing games on the Binance Smart Chain.

The game takes inspiration from the original DopeWars (1998) & Drug Lord (1991), where through buying and selling drugs you make use of the market arbitrage present in different districts, to maximize profits. Essentially, buying Drugs at a low price and selling them at a higher price.

Combining the entertaining and addictive nature of being a gangster for a day, with the ability to earn real-world tradeable assets, DopeWarz plans to become a metaverse with an in-game virtual economy mimicing the supply and demand models in cities around the world.

What is unique selling point?

Their ‘skill-to-earn’ model should not be mistaken as a clone of the eSports reward model, where most of the monetary reward is distributed to the top few players. Rather a logical scale where incremental improvements in-game lead to incremental rises in monetary rewards. Put simply; everyone has the opportunity to make money within the DopeWarz metaverse. Still, those willing to learn from their mistakes and think actively about their decisions will earn proportionally more throughout their adventure!

Gameplay

The game will focus on the virual economy. They are developing mechanics to effectively create dynamic supply and demand models for the in-game Drugz. Your Dopez will be able to make trades, evade Police, and travel to other Cityz to make more deals.

Governors

Players who purchase BlockZ, in-game raw materials factories represented by NFTs, and earn by playing the role of resource providers.

Governors will be able to do Land Improvements on these BlockZ, in order to increase the stats of the BlockZ and produce more. In addition, Governors will be able to stake certain amounts of $DRUG, which will get locked in the in-game bank for X amount of time (depending on how much they stake), and provided that they play the game, they will, in turn, get rewards.

They’ll also be responsible for governance decisions when it comes to the future of the game (how will the community treasury be used to improve the platform).

Governors can convert the $DDZ in-game to $DRUG as well, like any other players, or send them to enhance their BlockZ, to further increase its stats and value.

Distributors

Players, who play the role of drug dealers and buy/sell drugs within the game world, their activity serves as a proof-of-work within the game. $DDZ (in some instances $DRUG)

In order to play as Distributors, players will need to purchase a certain amount of $DRUG to purchase a DopeZ (in-game characters in NFTs) and a DOZ (in-game home bases in NFTs). After purchasing a DopeZ and a DOZ, players will be able to buy and sell an X amount of capped drugs per day.

Players can install Drug ProductionZ Facilities (DPZ) in their DOZ. This will allow them to increase the maximum number of DrugZ they can hold. Similarly, players can spend $DDZ to buy different types of DopeZ to be able to sell more DrugZ, Loot other players, and upgrade their capabilities. The game will include the following types of DopeZ:
