Anyswap was founded in July 2020 and was initially positioned as a cross-chain DEX. In early 2021, Anyswap removed DEX functionality and focused on cross-chain bridge services. In order to provide better cross-chain services to users, Anyswap decided to upgrade its brand to Multichain. Multichain is taking what Anyswap has achieved so far with an updated visual identity and branded vision. It is aligned to become the leading infrastructure for cross-chain.

Multichain, a cross-chain router protocol

Multichain is a Cross-Chain Router Protocol (CRP), an infrastructure designed for seamless on-chain interoperability. It should be the ultimate Net 3 router.

Multichain was developed by Anyswap and offers a sophisticated real-time CRP system that enables assets in all networks to work with one another.

Multichain offers leading advantages in terms of security, speed and user experience. In terms of security, the most important part is the Multi-Party + Unattended Computing (MPC) model, which is Multichain’s core technology that ensures the security of on-chain assets. Multichain is by far the best solution for cross-chain interaction. It has completed multiple rounds of security testing from TrailOfBits, SlowMist, and PeckShield. As an additional security measure, Multichain has set up a bug bounty program to reward well-written business-critical bug reports from the community in order to mitigate system and software vulnerabilities. Last but not least, Multichain has set up a security fund to ensure the continued operation of the system and to secure the funds in the event of unexpected mining. The recent impressive upgrades have increased cross-chain transfers, making them four times faster, with the average transaction speed dropping to 100 seconds, a completely surprising improvement. To further facilitate users, Multichain has consolidated and simplified its cross-chain interface. “Bridge” is integrated in “Router”, which means one entry for all cross-chain swaps. Multichain has also introduced the customer service of the Zendesk system, which offers our users unmatched 24/7 services.

MULTI Tokenomics

MULTI replaces the governance token with ANY. It enables MULTI-Token holders to vote and participate in the management of the community and the ecosystem.

Multichain has been updated by Anyswap and positions itself as an infrastructure designed for the interoperability of assets in the chain, as the ultimate router for the World Wide Web 3. MULTI tokenomics is explained below.

The total supply of DA will be 100 million if the exchange rate for ANY is fixed: MAN is 1: 1 and the total supply of ANY is 100 million. EACH circulating supply is currently 18,639,320, 18.64% of the total supply. When the transition is complete, the DA circulating counter is 18,639,320 while the non-circulating counter is 81.36%.

The non-circulating MULTI token is blocked in smart contracts. In the future there will be admin votes for the MULTI widget. Until then, the tokens will not be activated.

Convert ANY to MULTI

It is a one-way swap to convert ANY to MULTI; the other way around is not supported. There’s no time limit set for the conversion, but please note that once the conversion is completed, ANY tokens will be locked in the smart contracts, so we suggest that you complete it ASAP in case of any unnecessary loss.

The conversion will only be initiated by ANY owners. It is a fixed ratio at ANY: MULTI =1:1.
