On June 17 at 7:30 p.m. UTC, Shiba Inu will introduce the WellyFriends NFT initiative on the TV streaming site Twitch.
This follows the Wellyfriends’ NFT mint event’s public auction. The Welly collection, which includes 10,000 NFTs with various traits and combinations, was minted in three stages: private sales for Shiboshi and leash holders, minting assigned to Discord whitelist places, and finally a public sale.
Welly’s, a Shiba Inu-themed fast-food business, says it currently spends 10% of its earnings on burning and awards. Welly NFT DOG will receive 8% of the proceeds, while the remaining 2% will be incinerated. The community stake, which is owned completely by the Shiba Inu community, accounts for 15% of the total. In a recent blog post, Shiba Inu’s chief developer, Shytoshi Kusama, indicated that “all of this is intended to be done via the Bone/Doggy DAO at a later time.”
The Decentralized Organizational Group, or DOG, is a separate entity within the Welly location(s) that operates through a network of “Smart Contractors.” These smart contractors can join the DOG by holding a Welly NFT, which enables for member tracking and gives them access to making choices via the SHIB DOGGY DAO.
Vueling, a Spanish airline, now accepts Shiba Inus
Vueling, a Spanish airline, now accepts Shiba Inus through cryptocurrency payment processor BitPay. Vueling and BitPay have reached an agreement that will allow users to pay using cryptocurrency.
According to a news release, the service would be available for individuals solely on the company’s website starting in 2023. Customers can pay for their flights with more than 100 wallets, Shiba Inu (SHIB), and 12 different cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) (WBTC).
During the most recent market downturn, Shiba Inu hit a low of $0.00000739 on June 13.
