BNB smart chain addresses were active from Jun 6th to 12th, with around 981,304 active addresses per day, an increase of about 7.55% from the number of active addresses per day of week 22. The number is low, especially on the last day of the week, Jun 07, with 952,497 active addresses. And the weekly high was Jun 09 with 1,005,301.

Total Value Locked

The total value locked on the BNB chain has decreased over the past week. The TVL of the current ecosystem is around $7.7 billion, down roughly from 8.4% last week. The market went into a downtrend, causing the money on the ecosystem to be significantly withdrawn.

Binance Is Accused Of Being An Intermediary To Launder $2.35 Billion In Dirty Money

On June 6, Reuters published a particular investigative article alleging that the lax KYC process on Binance helped hackers easily launder money through cryptocurrencies.

Reuters has provided evidence that the Lazarus Group hacker group with links to North Korea in September 2020 attacked the Slovakian exchange Eterbase and stole more than 5.4 million USD. The hacker then used the encrypted emails to open at least two dozen accounts and disperse the funds.
