Milady NFT Prices Have Plummeted More Than 55%
Charlotte Fang, the creator of the popular Milady Maker NFTs collection, has allegedly been revealed as a cultist, racist, and child groomer whose acts online may have led to death.
Following the revelation, Fang, also known as Charlie, stated that he would step down as CEO. Milady NFTs’ average floor price plummeted by more than 55% to $454 when the news appeared.
Milady Maker is a generative art NFT collection developed in August 2021 by the anonymous internet collaborative Remilia. In April, the aesthetic-styled art pieces sold for roughly $6,000, attracting the attention of major investors.
On social media and elsewhere, 0xngmi, a pseudonymous crypto analyst, shared screenshots from his investigation into Charlotte Fang’s prior life.
Fang was revealed to be the person behind the ‘Miya’ Twitter account, which has now been suspended. Systemspace was the owner of the account. This group encouraged people to commit suicide in order to have a “better life” in the hereafter.
“Miya was involved with a suicide cult that spread through 4chan and promised people who registered on a website and died would be transferred to a paradise world. A 17-year-old teen in Canada killed himself over this,” 0xngmi alleged.
The crypto analyst dug deep into history, discovering Miya’s previous essays and comparing them to Fang’s online behaviors. One essay compared black people to apes who should not be allowed to vote, while another supported for the extermination of Jews. Fang regarded women as something to be “tamed” in another.
Fang is accused of creating many fictitious identities, including Sonya, who published similar content on social media.
0xngmi also disclosed that Fang was a member of the Kali Yuga Accelerationism, a controversial type of Hinduism that has turned into a white supremacist cult notorious for forcing its adherents to perform bizarre devotional rituals.
Fang has been accused of “grooming” young girls with eating problems towards self-harm or suicide. 0xngmi claimed the whole Remilia team was involved in different internet hate crimes.
“All of Remilia seems connected to this: A lot of members followed anorexic girls and Miya-related accounts,” he claimed.
Charlotte Fang initially rejected the claims and attempted to hide their shady background, but later eventually admitted to being Miya. Fang apologized for Miya’s “toxic baggage” that was harming Milady and announced his leave as CEO.
“More bullish than ever for Milady,” he added. “The community will take off moving on from the baggage I brought on.”
