Mutant Ape NFT Collection Now Reaches $1,5 Billion In All-Time Sales
Sales growth brought the Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) NFT collection to the fourth largest sales volume of all-time.
As of May, the NFT collection has a total sales volume of nearly $1.53 billion. Mutant Ape has surpassed some of the space’s most successful NFTs projects, including Art Blocks, NBA Top Shot, Otherdeed, Azuki, CloneX, VeeFriends, Moonbirds, Meebits, Doodles, and The Sandbox, owing to this new milestone.
When existing Bored Apes are introduced to a sample of Mutant Serum, they become Mutant Apes. The Mutant Ape Yacht Club is a gathering of 20,000 Mutant Apes.
The NFT project has seen tremendous increase in total transaction counts since August 2021, hitting 6,452 unique monthly users, 10,676 transactions, and $218.05 million at the conclusion of that month. Although the number of unique purchasers and total transactions has decreased in recent months, the average sales value has climbed.
From $20,423.86 (6 ETH) in August 2021 to $58,287.34 (approximately 18.9 ETH) in January 2022, the average sales value climbed by 185%. MAYC’s sales volumes in the first month of 2022 were around $252.33 million.
The NFT project hit a new all-time record monthly sales volume of roughly $252.63 million in April 2022, with an average transaction value of $92,878.32. NFTs of Mutant Ape Yacht Club had a floor price of 19.8 ETH at the time of writing.
