After days if going berating him on Twitter, Dogecoin’s founder, Billy Markus, has been blocked by Terra’s founder, Do Kwon on Twitter. Here is a look at what led to that including a timeline of their entire altercation.
Billy Markus Is Now Blocked By Do Kwon On Twitter
It all started when Terra’s Do Kwon made a thread apologizing to the Terra community. in the post, Kwon admitted to the failures of UST and LUNA and also shared their revival plan as well as asked the community to be a little patient with them. Markus commented under the post asking the Terra boss to stop trying to bring in new victims to fund the previous victims and instead, just leave the space forever. He then proceeded to add that doing that is pretty hypocritical and shameful.
It is clear that Billy Markus is against Do Kwon and Terraforms. When asked why, he answered that it is because everyone pushing it is a scammer and he hates scammers. Markus is of the belief that Kwon single-handedly tried to destroy the entire cryptocurrency space for his own gain. He added that absolutely nobody should defend this. Ever. In any way. At all.
When urged to let people get their money back and stop interfering, Markus curtly responded: “How the f**k are they getting their money back? from money trees? from magic?” Markus has also pleaded with Kwon to just exit the crypto industry forever.
Luna was trading around $120 at the start of April. It has, however, fallen this week and was trading at $0.0001878 on Tuesday. Kwon previously announced his resurrection plan and discussed sharing network ownership among UST and LUNA holders.
Billy Markus is not the only person that gave heat to the Terra founder following the crash. Binance CEO and founder, Changpeng Zhao, and Ethereum creator, Vitalik Buterin, also  chastised Kwon for the disastrous failures of Terra LUNA and UST, particularly for his arrogance during the project’s peak. The crypto big shots were pretty angered by what transpired to say the least.
Buterin stated that UST ought not be contrasted to overcollateralized stablecoins such as DAI, an Ethereum blockchain stablecoin.
