The founder of an NFT game was tricked into shedding 16 CryptoPunks and a great amount of ETH after falling sufferer to a scammer.

The scammer convinced Stazie to re-enter the Metamask wallet’s seed phrase by saying that Metamask’s security had been compromised.

Stazie sent the crook “stupid” the seed phrase in his wallet:

“It’s just too stupid without critical thinking. Punks and ETH quickly disappeared before I could do anything. ” he blames himself.
