Ripple Reveals its first NFT beneficiaries of the $250 Million Creator’s Fund

The $250M Ripple’s Creator Fund

Ripple, a global payments and blockchain solutions provider, has announced the first list of creators who are funded for innovative NFT initiatives from its $250 million Creator Fund.

Ripple says its NFT-focused fund has received approximately 4,000 applications since its launch in September 2021. Independent creators such as artists, musicians, game designers, and constructors are among them.

Ripple claims that their fund is the only one dedicated to linking artists with marketplaces and creative agencies like Mintable, MintNFT, and VSA Partners. The Creator Fund will continue to support creators on a batch-by-batch basis in the future, with different themes for each “wave” of applications.

Author, producer, and entrepreneur Justin Bua; director Steven Sebring; and xPunks are just a few of the notable creators that have benefited from the fund.

“I am extremely excited to be one of the first visual artists working with Ripple to bring life to my artistic vision in this tokenized world and lend the support I need to grow the BUA community. Using the XRP Ledger delivers a proven, user-friendly, and secure NFT experience for creators like myself and community members alike in an open and inclusive environment,” Justin Bua said.

“Creating value for everyone has finally been made possible using the XRP Ledger—no matter your background or budget,” said Kaj Leroy, founder and CEO of xPunks and onXRP. “With a mission and passion, you can achieve everything, for everyone,” xPunks creator stated.

Ripple has partnered with NFT markets NFT Pro, Ethernal Labs, and OnXRP to integrate the XRP Ledger into their platforms.
