Brave Wallet, the crypto wallet feature built into the Brave web browser, is giving away nearly $500,000 in crypto prizes to celebrate its launch on both desktop and mobile. The prize pool will comprise a diversity of prized digital assets, as its value suggests, with the centerpiece reward being an 80 ETH Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT.
The charitable endeavor is known as the Brave Swap-stakes crypto sweepstakes, and it will include a series of giveaways from March 8th to March 14th. Brave will also be giving away:
- 4 ETH
- 25 SOL
- 1,000 BAT
- 2 Lazy Lions NFTs
- 5 Pudgy Penguins NFTs
- 3 World of Women NFTs
- BAYC NFT
The rewards will not be distributed all at once, but rather progressively throughout the duration of the giveaway’s six-day run.
To be eligible for a given day’s prize pool, users must have a Brave Wallet address that is active on that day, as well as use the Brave Swap feature in that wallet to perform at least one coin swap on that day. Users will instantly become eligible for the grand rewards if they do so.
Winners, who will be chosen at random based on their wallet address, will get a newly minted Golden Ticket NFT, which will be placed into their wallet by Brave. The Golden Ticket NFT will serve as both a proof of win and the asset that must be redeemed in order to obtain the actual prize.
