Binance Labs, Binance’s venture capital arm and innovation incubator, invested $1.1 million in AlwaysGeeky Games, the inventor of the NFT project Voxies and the game Voxies Tactics.
Binance Labs and AlwaysGeeky Games have agreed to a long-term partnership to help expand up the blockchain gaming business and onboard new players from the traditional gaming industry.
Currently, the development team is working on two projects: Voxies Tactics, a blockchain-based P2E game, and Voxies NFTs, which can be purchased and used in-game on the gaming platform’s official website.
AlwaysGeeky Games will expand its development staff and make its games available on additional platforms as a result of the financing. According to Ryan Sterling, CFO of AlwaysGeeky Games, the development team is keen to create a platform with “the most fun ‘nerdy’ ways to express creativity.”
Bill Qian, Head of Binance Labs, said:
“We have seen what Voxies Tactics can do at a very early stage of its product launch. Now we want to support the team so that the team can bring out the best in the blockchain tactical RPG game sector.”
