Binance, the world’s top blockchain and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, announced today its membership in the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA).

The National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to detecting, verifying, mitigating, and eliminating cybercrime threats. Binance is the alliance’s first official member from the blockchain and cryptocurrency industries.

The NCFTA was formed in 2002 to facilitate the appropriate exchange of information and subject area knowledge with partners from the commercial sector, law enforcement, and academia. Its mission is to generate and disseminate threat detection as part of the global effort to battle and defeat cybercrime. NCFTA actions have prevented over $2 billion in potential damages and launched hundreds of criminal and civil investigations, resulting in over a thousand arrests.
