Justin Sun entered the political world and will dissolve the Tron Foundation in 2022
Justin Sun is hands down one of the most popular personalities in the crypto space. He is best known for starting one of the leading projects – TRON. Now the young businessman also seems to be getting into politics.
The Grenada Foreign Ministry has named Justin Sun as the new Ambassador of the World Trade Organization (WTO), according to a press release. The solar operation will be carried out from Geneva.

Grenada is known as an important member of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) as well as the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and the CARICOM Common Market Economy (CSME).
On the subject, Justin Sun said:
It is truly an honor to serve as WTO Ambassador to Grenada. I look forward to the opportunity to represent Grenada and work with the WTO leadership to advance world trade in a variety of ways, particularly developing a resilient digital economy on a global scale.
It should also be noted that Sun is about to step down and cease the day-to-day operations of the Tron Foundation.
The crypto entrepreneur said he would leave the Tron blockchain – his idea – to the TRX owners. His next goal is to focus on legalizing cryptocurrencies in Latin American countries – after El Salvador successfully accepted Bitcoin as legal tender.
In an open letter, Sun described his personal career plans, including foregoing some of his power over the Tron blockchain and promoting blockchain and cryptocurrency in countries like Grenada.
“My future career … will focus on legalizing blockchain technology at the national level.”
In the open letter, Sun added that the Tron Foundation will be disbanded next year and that its three connected super nodes will soon be withdrawn from Tron’s technical network. The 27 super representatives on the Tron blockchain are elected by the Tron community.
TRX price is down more than 7% as of press time and is trading at $ 0.008.
