Vitalik Buterin participates in a new documentary about Ethereum

“Ethereum: Infinite Garden” asks for donations of 750 ETH
Documentary “Ethereum: Infinite Garden” (Ethereum: The Infinite Garden) owns many valuable recordings of interviews with big names that contribute to the development of the Ethereum network. These include co-founder Vitalik Buterin and Aya Miyaguchi, executive director of the Ethereum Foundation.
Production company Optimist is behind the documentary, which will be produced by Carrie Weprin as executive producer and co-directed by Zach Ingrasci and Chris Temple. Weprin and Ingrasci both knew about the cryptocurrency ecosystem before joining the project. But the interviews they conducted for the new movie really made the two of them die-hard fans of Ethereum.
They are currently looking for ETH donations to finance the film via the Mirror platform. The donation period ends on July 16 with the aim of raising 750 ETH (approximately $ 1.5 million). At the time of writing, there were 236 backers with an amount of 215.70 ETH, which is $ 426,822.
For filmmakers, crypto crowdfunding is the most authentic way to raise money for a movie. Because this step enables the members of the community to participate and shape the outcome of the project, which is still in the early development phase.
“I think it would be interesting to have a DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) that could be the executive producer of the film. When it happens, it’s a first for a movie. In addition, NFT tokens designed by crypto artist pppleasr are sold on Mirror. Each token represents a level of participation in the project.

“I always thought that Vitalik Buterin deserved his own story. The entire Ethereum team is real, nice and amazing, ”said Morgan Beller, co-founder of Libra and now an investor in NFX. “If this is your first time learning about Ethereum and you are not a crypto user, you don’t need to see this page. But I always thought that if the world could somehow see and understand where all this comes from, the heart and the thinking behind it, then people would be more understanding and supportive, ”said Beller.
Weprin said the team hopes to show the film at a major film festival in 2023. After that, they are likely to air the film on major online film platforms.
