Anyone with a lot of habitats can rent them out, so anyone who can’t afford to rent them can join guilds like Merit Circle and purchase Habitat that way. Like many other aspects of Genopets, Habitat can be fully upgraded with the higher-value Habitat, which is more valuable and useful.
The sustainable development of the in-game economy
The economy in Genopets is based on sustainability and flexibility. There are two important tokens that form the foundation of this economy.
The first is the GENE token. GENE represents the governance token of Genopets and is linked to the value of the Genopets game in general. Everyone who has this GENE token automatically becomes a member of ‘The Equilibrium’. This is a secret society that enables all GENE owners to have a say in game design, contribute to new content and take part in special community perks such as airdrops.
