Immutable X (IMVU) , the scaling solution for the Immutable Layer 2 NFT protocol, has signed an agreement with Together Labs to integrate with the platform’s native social. The partnership will encourage the creation and dissemination of NFTs within the game’s virtual ecosystem.
IMVU, pronounced “imm-view”, is a blockchain simulation game similar to The Sims or Second Life, in which players can design, live and interact with virtual worlds.
Led by Silicon Valley-based company Together Labs – a technology architecture that supports the social media experience with the implementation of cryptocurrencies and all aspects of its ecosystem. it – IMVU has 200,000 active creators and 1 million daily active players.
Immutable X is an NFT-centric blockchain protocol built on top of the Ethereum blockchain and has reportedly up to 9,000 near-instant transactions per second in the case of ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens, no gas fees and scalability above the market average also made possible by using the zk rollup from StarkWare.
Immutable X co-founder Robbie Ferguson outlined the newfound opportunities IMVU players can experience by interacting with the NFT rollout.
“We are pleased about the partnership with IMVU. With Immutable X’s technology, we provide scalability to every user in the IMVU metavers and enable them to seamlessly trade NFTs on Ethereum without compromising the security of their assets. “
Two weeks ago, Immutable announced $ 60 million in Series B funding from venture capital firms such as Alameda Research and VaynerFund. The protocol is working on expanding NFT gaming following the success of the blockchain trading card game Gods Unchained.
They’ve also committed to environmental practices by implementing zero know-how evidence and buying carbon credits to offset.
As promised, the partnership with IMVU allows players to participate in regular in-game activities – creating universes, creating 3D avatars, interacting with other players, buying items, collecting and trading the Fiat-Convertible VCORE Stablecoin game – all with the guarantee that carbon neutrality will be maintained.
