- Binance and the soccer superstar are gaining attention with a new campaign via the exchange’s tweets.
- With the deal established, it will be a hit for the world’s largest exchange at the moment.
- Prior to that, Cristiano Ronaldo joined the exchange’s Web3 campaign with his first NFT collection.
On Friday, the world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchange Binance showed some behind-the-scenes images of football star Cristiano Ronaldo in what seems to be an ad shoot.
The cryptocurrency exchange released a couple of photos of the football player. Binance shared photos from the photo session in a tweet:
“We’re working on something with Cristiano Ronaldo. Here’s a behind the scenes look at what we’ve got coming up.”
The photographs create the impression that the transaction would lead to the launch of an ad campaign featuring the well-known footballer. With Cristiano’s worldwide fame, this would be a tremendous deal. The player is now a member of the Saudi football league team Al Nassr.
Cristiano Ronaldo, the soccer star, startled the crypto community in June 2022 by announcing a deal with Binance, the world’s top cryptocurrency exchange, to develop a CR7-branded NFT collection.
As part of an exclusive, long-term agreement with the exchange, Binance presented Cristiano Ronaldo’s inaugural NFT collection in last November. The upcoming launch is part of a worldwide marketing push starring Ronaldo, that wants to promote Web 3 to his followers through the NFT globe.
Binance has several advertising partnerships in the sports industry prior to CR7, particularly in football.
This comes at a time when another leading cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase, is beginning an advertising campaign aimed at raising awareness of cryptocurrency, the technology. The US-based exchange recently announced intentions to begin an advertising campaign in Washington DC, which might be part of a larger strategy to influence key government officials and politicians.
