According to the official blog, Web3 gaming platform NFT Gameta has announced the completion of a $5 million seed round investment, Binance Labs, Huobi Ventures, Arcane Capital, Ceras Ventures, Start VC, Gate.io Labs, W3Coins, Redline Dao, DefinanceX, Rana Capital and Infinity Labs participated.
Gameta is a layered NFT gaming ecosystem that provides players with a comprehensive Web3 gaming and entertainment experience, from hyper-casual to immersive. Gameta currently ranks among the most active apps on the BNB Chain (Top 1) with regular new NFTs and rewards innovations for its community.
Its newest NFT game, Hippo Dash, builds an NFT ecosystem where users can use their Hippo Club NFT to play, trade, and earn rewards through an easy NFT and wealth management system. Since its inception in 2022, the gaming platform has attracted 7 million users and achieved a user retention rate of over 40%.
Gameta will use this funding to accelerate the building of the game ecosystem, tokens, and NFT system, and expand its user base to attract 20 million users, bringing Multiple choice participants including (but not limited to) super random, socializing, and immersive, competitive Web3 gaming experiences.
According to the official introduction, the project currently ranks first among active users on the BNB Chain and is also the Binance Labs Most Valuable Builders Incubator winner.
Today, Binance Labs also announced that alongside Gameta, the platform sponsors six other projects in The Most Valuable Builder (MVB) Accelerator Program. This accelerator program is co-led by Binance Labs and the BNB Chain to provide mentoring and funding for emerging projects built on the BNB Chain.
The fifth season which begins in June 2022, is the first time that Binance selects the top-performing projects for investment. Binance Labs will invest in seven chosen projects from the MVB Program, including the DeFi, infrastructure & tools, NFT, and GameFi sectors.
