Binance And CZ Sued By CFTC Over Allegedly Breaking Derivatives Rules

CFTC has filed a lawsuit against Binance for allegedly violating trading and derivatives rules, including offering, entering into, and confirming the execution of off-exchange commodity futures transactions and transacting in off-exchange transactions in commodity options. CFTC lawsuit also alleges the exchange traded on their platform with 300 accounts directly or indirectly associated with CEO CZ.

dYdX To Launch Its Private Testnet On March 28

On March 28, dYdX will launch a private testnet of its Cosmos-based blockchain. The dYdX private testnet will be operational for two to three weeks. Following that, by the end of July, a public testnet will be launched. This is the second project after SushiSwap to announce the migration from Ethereum to Cosmos.

MicroStrategy Holds Over 138,000 Bitcoins With $4.14 Billion Purchase Value

MacroStrategy, a subsidiary of MicroStrategy, has fully repaid its $205 million loan to Silvergate Bank, with Bitcoin serving as collateral. The loan had a floating interest rate of 8.27%, and MacroStrategy was required to maintain a loan-to-collateral value ratio of less than 50%. MicroStrategy and its subsidiaries acquired approximately 6,455 bitcoins for $150 million, bringing their total holdings to 138,955 bitcoins acquired at an average price of $29,817 per bitcoin.
