Fist of the North Star makes its debut appearance in the metaverse in End of the Century LAND. To further improve and more immerse the LAND experience, the agreement will also embrace the creation and sale of NFTs.
From 1983 through 1988, the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine featured the manga series Fist of the North Star, which was authored by Takeru Takemono (original story) and Tetsuo Hara (manga).
The gritty action manga is set at the turn of the century and follows Kenshiro, a master of Hokuto Shinken, as he battles evil in a violent post-nuclear world. This masterpiece is still adored by many fans both in Japan and abroad and is one of the best-selling manga series of all time, with a total global circulation of over 100 million copies.
Tetsuo Hara, the author of the famous manga, said in a statement:
“I am looking forward to seeing the world of the manga “Fist of the North Star” come to life in the new gaming metaverse. It’s a little strange to be a voxel, but I’m really looking forward to seeing Kenshiro and the rest of the Hokuto characters come to life and run wild.”
