The news came a few hours after one of Bankman-Fried’s lawyers requested to examine the American indictment before agreeing to be extradited to the Bahamas at a hearing there. Later, New York Times reported that Bankman-Fried had willingly agreed to the extradition against “the strongest possible legal advice,” according to local defense attorney Jerone Roberts.
