Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest upped their Coinbase holdings to 297,000 shares on Wednesday, December 15. Coinbase shares rose nearly 4% to $40.19 on Wednesday after reaching an all-time low of $38.69 on Tuesday. Yesterday’s acquisition was worth more than $11.9 million based on closing pricing. The ARK Innovation ETF now holds 6,139,480 Coinbase shares worth $246.7 million.
ARKK is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that invests in firms focused on disruptive innovation, such as automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
ARKF invests in equity securities of firms involved in the Fund’s investing theme of fintech innovation, while ARKW attempts to capture internet-based products and services, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, and media advances.
