Polygon stated on December 14th that it had joined the $100 million funding scheme previously established by Game7. The Polygon development team will provide additional technical and development help to games supported by this initiative.

The Game7 Grants Program is a chain-agnostic program that will commit $100 million over the next five years to teams tackling difficulties using game development tooling, smart contracts, core infrastructure, and community tooling. 

Projects that are already active on the Polygon network will receive extra technical and developmental assistance from the skilled team of developers at Polygon firms, while Game7 will lead due diligence and finance.

Polygon Has Signed On To Game7's $100 Million Funding Program

The funds will be divided among cutting-edge projects centered on open-source technologies, events, education, research, and diversity. Grant recipients will also have access to a thriving gaming community, technical assistance, mentoring, and early access to Game7 activities.

The Web3 game DAO Game7 announced a $100 million funding plan at the end of last month, which will be implemented over the following five years.
