The CEO of SushiSwap DAO, Jared Gray, just shared a preview of next year’s spending plan. The company expects to spend about $5.2 million on DEX operations next year. Over $82,000 will go into paying 15 salaries, with Jared Gray receiving $500,000 USDC.
The typical salary for a team member is $286,500. Legal fees, subscription fees, remuneration for independent contributors, and the cost of managing SushiSwap’s social media accounts all come out of the approximately $919,000 in the DAO’s remaining budget.
The monthly budget for a freelancer who wishes to remain nameless is $12,000, which is only $500 less than the typical monthly retainer for Sushi’s legal team.
