On December 2, the Chairwoman of the U.S. House Committee On Financial Service, Maxine Waters invited SBF to attend the hearing on December 13, but Sam Bankman-Fried appears not to be sure about his presence at the hearing. However, the Chairwoman emphasized the imperative of SBF’s attendance in a response to his hesitation.
Previously, the former FTX CEO, SBF stated that he had not been sure whether he attended the hearing on December 13 in reply to the invitation of Maxine Waters.
