Two exchanges owned by Justin Sun, Huobi and Poloniex, announced to become strategic partners of each other.
On November 30, cryptocurrency exchange Huobi said it had established a strategic partnership with Poloniex, officially confirming previous rumors.
Justin Sun is engaged in both exchanges. He was a member of the investment group that bought Poloniex in 2019 and is currently an adviser to Huobi.
According to the announcement, Huobi and Poloniex will jointly develop new uses for Huobi’s HT token, link projects, share liquidity, and ensure legal compliance.
On November 25, it was rumored that the two exchanges would join, with Justin Sun, the inventor of the Tron network, suggesting that it was feasible in the future. Huobi, on the other hand, stated that the reports were categorically false.
Huobi recently announced that it would issue a separate token for Dominica, the Caribbean island nation that the exchange has chosen to become its new headquarters.
