With its new Ghost in the Shell x Ukiyo-e NFT collection, the innovative Web3 ecosystem MADworld is giving new life to the 1995 classic animated cyberpunk thriller “Ghost in the Shell.”
“Ghost in the Shell” is an animated film adaption of Shirow Masamune‘s cyberpunk manga. The film chronicles the actions of the Public Security Section 9 and its cyborg task force members as they battle computer crimes and cyber-terrorism in the highly evolved network society of a futuristic 2029 AD.
The set will include 500 digital drops inspired by iconic film motifs, as well as a limited-edition Ukiyo-e print.
Each print is a unique, one-of-a-kind art piece made adored because of the defects, distinct textures, shadings, and depths that come from the hand printing method, which dates back to the Edo era of the 1600s.
