JPMorgan has formally registered a cryptocurrency trademark, according to information gathered from a USPTO application that was granted. The company, aptly known as “JP Morgan Wallet,” plans to allow bitcoin payments, exchanges, and transfers.

Now, the biggest bank in America has entered the cryptocurrency industry. With the newly created trademark, JPMorgan plans to provide Bitcoin exchange services to its clients. Additionally, the filling was authorized as of November 15.

A fuller image of the official offerings emerged under the official paper. The registration enables JPMorgan Wallet to offer services related to cryptocurrency exchange, cryptocurrency transfers on a blockchain, credit or cash card payment processing, and the creation and administration of virtual checking accounts.

JPMorgan registered the trademark in July 2020. Furthermore, it will be intriguing to see how the JP Morgan Wallet evolves under what may be the most unpredictable market in history.
