In May, Liquid Group and all of its operating companies were purchased by FTX Trading Ltd. The purchase led to the creation of FTX Japan.

The announcement comes after the Financial Services Agency of Japan ordered FTX Japan to cease operations and hold assets in Japan equal to its liabilities on its balance sheet until December 9. Recently, FTX Japan reported on the management status of each asset at the company and the status of their own assets as follows.
