The remarks follow CZ’s announcement that the exchange would begin liquidating its holdings of FTX’s FTT exchange token, which contributed to a sharp decline in stablecoin trading at CEO Sam Bankman-Fried’s exchange and sparked widespread rumors about the health of FTX and its closely related principle trading firm Alameda Research.
