GameStop Supports Web3 Games NFTs Through Immutable X
GameStop has announced that it has added support for NFTs created through its NFT Layer2 Immutable X solution to its NFT marketplace, which means assets from Web3 games can be traded on the platform, including Gods Unchained, Guild of Guardians and Illuvium, and other Web3 games.
In a new announcement by video game retailer GameStop, it has integrated with the Immutable X marketplace to bring Web3 game collections to the public.
This partnership will allow users to trade Web3 game assets on Immutable X. Interactive NFTs from games like Gods Unchained, Guild of Guardians and Illuvium and several other 3 web games are now available through the video game retailer’s Web3 platform.
In July, GameStop opened the long-awaited NFT Marketplace when it announced the Beta of the NFT Marketplace. But at launch, the platform only offered digital artworks and collections.
The retailer’s partnership with Immutable X was first announced in February. The firms announced a $100 million token incentive fund for Web3 game developers, plus GameStop separately participated in a $500 million fund with investment and grants for NFT and game creators using Immutable X.
