Binance Launches The First Crypto Law Program After 1 Year of Implementation

Binance Officially Announces the Global Law Enforcement Training Program, with the goal of the industry’s first globally coordinated effort to help law enforcement detect financial and cybercrime and assist in the prosecution of bad guys who exploit digital assets. This initiative has grown since Binance’s investigative team expanded last year.

The largest cryptocurrency exchange officially announced the Global Law Enforcement Training Program on September 27. This is the industry’s first globally coordinated effort of its kind, a program designed to help law enforcement detect crime finance and networks as well as assisting in the prosecution of bad guys who exploit digital assets.

The Binance Investigations Team conducted and participated in over 30 financial and cybercrime seminars, involving law enforcement officials over the past year, so that the plan could be fully developed.

The group also claims to have responded to more than 27,000 law enforcement requests since November with an average response time of three days. The team is led by global head of intelligence and investigations Tigran Gambaryan, a former special investigator with the US Internal Revenue Service’s cybercrime unit.

“As more regulators, public law enforcement agencies, and private sector stakeholders look closely at crypto, we are seeing an increased demand for training to help educate on and combat crypto crimes,(…). To meet that demand, we have bolstered our team to conduct more training and work hand-in-hand with regulators across the globe.”

Tigran Gambaryan, Global Head of Intelligence and Investigations said.

Since its inception, Binance has also encountered a number of suspicions about money laundering, but always acting in cooperation with investigative agencies and with its compliance measures, Binance has also demonstrated transparency and its efforts to comply with the law. Therefore, it has always been the largest exchange and received a lot of trust from the community.
