On August 17, @bertcmiller, a member of the solution development team, posted a tweet announcing that it would open-source Flashbots Relay.

Flashbots is an auction-enabled marketplace for on-chain arbitrage opportunities. With this approach, the project will help mitigate the negative impacts of MEV on the blockchain ecosystem as a whole.

The immediate context of this message is unknown, but most likely what Hasu (a key member of the project’s development team) is referring to is Flashbots Relay’s open source implementation.
