Through a new Tenacious Tacos NFT collection, a Canadian restaurant brand is placing their customer loyalty program on the blockchain.
With 19 locations across Canada and plans to expand into the United States, this $6 million taco franchise wants to capitalize on their growing customer base.
The Tenacious Tacos collection allows owners to get both Web3 and real benefits. Moreover, those who want can stake their nonfungible tokens (NFTs) to earn more digital rewards.
According to the official statement, Tenacious Tacos deposits can be exchanged for rewards such as the chance to win free food for life or monthly payments in ETH/WETH.
Landry’s restaurant group, Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory, and Rainforest Cafe have introduced a Bitcoin loyalty program. Customers can earn Bitcoin (BTC) rewards, for example, $25 worth of Bitcoin for every $250 spent at one of the many restaurants in the brand.
The StrEATS brand plans to use NFT in their new loyalty program. StrEAT also adds added value to traditional loyalty programs and conveniences to the NFT.
Joe Klassen, CEO of Joeys Restaurant Group and founder of the Tenacious Tacos NFT project, emphasizes the importance of community:
“The vision with this project is to become closer with the community while simultaneously creating the opportunity for them to share in our growing success.”
The loyalty program’s real-life NFT benefits include 20% off at all StrEATS locations, VIP event participation, and voting rights on new menu features.
