To celebrate these memorable milestones and give back to the community, Okay Bears has just announced the first airdrop for these NFT holders.
The 10,000 hand-drawn NFTs included in Okay Bears’ first airdrop, Founders Coin, were inspired by and recreated from the original collection. The requirement to receive the airdrop is having NFT Bear in your wallet from the snapshot time to 11 PM on August 1, 2022.
However, unlike the usual airdrop collections, Founders Coin has a very unique feature that users can exchange NFT for the corresponding gold value.
Specifically:
- Each NFT Founders Coin will be randomly attached with a gold weight, ranging from 0.25, 0.5, 1, 5 and 10g gold;
- Owners can exchange NFTs into Real Gold in Q4 of 2022. Minimum weight is 10g. Conversely, if owning NFTs weighing less than 10g of gold, the holder can only sell the NFT to the respective SOL or USDC value;
- Once Founders Coin is exchanged for real gold, that NFT will be burned to ensure supply;
- The royalties from the Founders Coin sale within the first 8 weeks will be donated to the Okay Cares fund. The community has the right to vote on which charitable activities the funds are used for.
