Total Value Locked Solana a Slight increase since last week with $2.74B(Up +3%) with $2.66B to $2.74B. Solana is in fifth place. Money started flowing into the ecosystem when BTC grew slightly in the last 2 weeks
Total stablecoin supply
The total supply of stablecoins is currently $6B as of Jul 31th, 2022. In Which, USDC is the stablecoins with the largest market share with $4.15B accounting for 69.22%. Then USDT with Dominance of 30.16% with $1.81B. The rest is a small part of other algorithmic stablecoins

Solana’s “Solana Spaces” Store Coming Soon
Solana is about to open a retail store that will be positioned as her own “cultural hub” in New York City.
A themed store called “Solana Spaces” will officially open in Hudson Yards, New York by the Solana Foundation. This space is positioned as a “cultural center” and “embassy” of Solana.
In addition to basic tutorials, the space will also display and sell artwork and a wide variety of Solana-branded items, including a limited number of Blanksoles sneakers.

Solana Summer Camp
Solana Summer is back. Solana Foundation Announces Solana Summer Camp Hackathon is a global online event with a $5 million prize pool and seed round funding. The sixth Solana hackathon will take place from July 11 to August 16. Solana Summer is open to everyone and anyone with a project idea is encouraged to sign up.
Winning projects that will be eligible to win prizes include:
- The Grand Champion will receive $65,000 USDC, 3 tickets to the upcoming Solana conference, and the opportunity to showcase their project to the larger Solana community.
- The Community Choice Award, voted for by the Solana community, will be awarded $10,000 USDC and an exclusive NFT.
- Prizes for Mobile, Payments, DeFi, Web3, Game, and DAO with five prizes ranging from $50,000 USDC to $10,000 USDC each.
- University Award, a $30,000 USDC award given to the best student team.
- The Climate Award, which promotes green and climate-friendly projects, will receive $10,000 USDC.

VERDICT
The above are some significant new developments in the Solana ecosystem that occurred in the past week. There are still worthwhile initiatives in the works, but there haven’t been many substantial changes. Keep a look out for the announcement next week.
