XRP Continues To Lead Other Altcoins, Achieves Major Milestones This Week
Large quantities of dormant XRP tokens are being moved, according to Santiment data aggregator. The past two days saw the movement of around 375 million XRP, according to Whale Alert.
Popular data company Santiment recently tweeted that the seventh-largest digital currency, the Ripple-affiliated XRP token, had reached a few significant milestones during the past week. One of them, according to Santiment, was a number of important active wallets starting to transfer their XRP holdings.
In addition, the data provider released a chart showing that a number of sizable inactive Ripple wallets had also started to transfer their money. The Santiment analytics team promised to keep a close eye on this top ten token in the future.
Earlier this week, it was reported that once the former Ripple CTO finally liquidated the remainder of his token holdings, huge XRP transfers were discovered by cryptocurrency tracking service Whale Alert.
A total of 374.5 million tokens have been transferred over the course of the last 48 hours, according to Whale Alert, a well-known platform that records significant crypto activities. Here, 155,000,000 tokens make up the largest single sum of cryptocurrency.
FTX transferred 63,501,812 coins to BitGo during this period, and Bitstamp sent 46,075,670 XRP to the same address. Ripple Labs is one among the businesses and financial institutions that use BitGo’s crypto custody services, which were acquired by Mike Novogratz’s Galaxy Digital last year.
Additionally, Bittrex, a significant US exchange, transferred 60,000,000 and 50,000,000 to Bitstamp and Bitso, the Latin American crypto unicorn that Ripple invested in.
The aforementioned 150-million XRP transfer was conducted by from Binance to Bittrex.
